Voluntary Service

I practice the voluntary service since 1993, for 12 years by the Association  "Club Zyp" (Trieste), which take care people with mental dsease.

I have been vice-president and member of the menaging board.

I have directed writing workshops and music workshops for disabled people.

I attended numerous training courses.

I shared moments of pure joy with people who partecipated in the activities.

I shared many sorrows when people was defeated, wehn the illness didn't give rest, and I grieved by many losses along the way.

I left the Association Club Zyp when I was convienced that some people was unfaithful to the spirit of the voluntary service and I noticed that disabled People were no more accepted with that  fraternal solidarity which was the aim of the Association.

In 2006 I founded the Voluntary Association Poesia a Solidarietà (Poetry and Solidarity) conveinced that the "poetic" language ( in all its dimension and potentialities) may promote "Solidarity" and deep knowledge processues. At the moment I am President of the Association (http://www.poesiaesolidarieta.it/)

My husband Ottavio is always on my side.

The Association is very active and works in favour of disabled people, wthin different social fields ( meeting in jail, in schools, everywhere "Poetry" may encourage and promote personal growth. The Association supports the Internationa Poetry Competition Castello di Duino, reserved to young people and related to humanitarian projects. (www.cstellodiduinopoesia.it ) .

Since 2008 I promote the World- Youth Forum"Right to Dialogue".

I consider Voluntary Service as a possibility to "be in relation without competition", which could reform our civil life.
